Waters Edge Bible Church

Waters Edge Bible Church is a new non-denominational church in Clermont, FL that was established in order to disciple individuals in the truth of God’s Word. Our church’s mission statement is “Fishing for lost and hurting souls, discipling them with the truth of God’s Word”. We welcome everyone who wants to learn more about Jesus Christ and how to grow in His love and grace. Senior Pastor Carlos Salaverria and Discipleship Pastor Chuck Aaron provide expository preaching and teaching strictly based on the truth of God’s Word. Waters Edge Bible Church also offers several different ministry groups for men, women, and children. In addition to the above ministries, Waters Edge Bible Church has a trained team of Biblical counselors offering free Biblical counseling services to Lake County and neighboring counties. Our counselors are certified or in the process of becoming certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). Biblical counseling can help individuals deal with any of life’s problems (e.g., anxiety, depression, parenting issues, marriage issues, anger, etc.). ACBC defines Biblical counseling as “The personal discipleship ministry of God’s people to others under the oversight of God’s church. This is accomplished by speaking the truth in love and applying Scripture to the need of the moment by comforting the suffering and calling sinners to repentance thus working to make them mature as they abide in Jesus Christ”. Waters Edge Bible Church is unique in that there are only 9-10 ACBC Biblical counselors in the Central Florida area and this church has 6 of them here in Clermont. This new church meets at the historic Clermont Garden Club at 849 West Avenue, Clermont, every Sunday morning. The Adult Bible Fellowship starts at 9:30am, the Waters Edge Kidz program begins at 9:30am and the general worship service starts at 10:45am. We would be honored to have you come visit us.
