Sonship Ministries

We are a church located in the heart of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. My wife Teri and I have been rooted in this community since our childhood and that spurred my passion to plant a church here. It is our prayer to see the residents of this neighborhood worshipping Jesus Christ through the biblical messages preached, the songs we sing and in our fellowship with others. We are a simple church that neither adds to nor subtracts from the gospel, for it is the gospel itself which is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. Mission Statement Sonship Ministries exists for the glory of God, that, through the preaching of the Gospel, men and women will experience the saving and transforming power of Jesus Christ. Vision Statement Our vision is to see Jesus Christ build His church, a living and thriving fellowship of believers using all their gifts and talents to impact our community. Values Statement We will work hard to meet not only the spiritual needs of those to whom we minister but also their physical, mental, and emotional needs. We recognize that our calling to discipleship and the strength that we need to be successful in this endeavor come completely from God. Therefore, our discipleship effort will be driven by a total reliance on the Lord through consistent prayer.
