Smyrna Baptist Church

Southern Baptist (SBC of VA, not BGAV). We preach expositionally and focus the entirety of our church's ministry around the Word of God. We are not confessionally reformed, but our entire pastoral staff subscribes to Reformed theology. We do not preach John Calvin, but Christ crucified. God's sovereignty in all things, including salvation, unashamedly colors our preaching. We greatly appreciate 9Marks ministry and agree with all 9 marks as well as T4G's Affirmations and Denials. Our music ministry blends timeless hymns with modern worship songs. All of our music, "old" and"new" alike, is sifted through the Word before being brought to the worship service. We seek to glorify Go by exalting Christ through the Spirit in all that we do. Amen.
