Sandy Creek Baptist Church

A Southern Baptist Church that has existed since 1770. The church has been going through revitalization efforts for about five years. In that time, we have rewritten the church constitution and covenant, as well as creating a new mission statement that is more in line with Scripture. We now say that SCBC exists to Know Christ personally, Grow in Christ corporately, Serve Christ wholly, and Go for Christ globally. Also, what was once a missions-less church now has a church-plant partner in Harrisburg, PA and is looking to find an international missions partner as well for regular yearly trips. In terms of beliefs, we hold to the BF&M 2000 as well as many of Mark Dever's 9Marks philosophies.
