In 1 Timothy 3:15, the apostle Paul writes that the church is ?the pillar and foundation of the truth.? At RCC, we take that calling seriously. In fear and trembling, we cry out for God?s help and strength in a world where, for so many people, there is no absolute truth. As a local church operating under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and committed to the Bible as our standard for faith and practice, our purpose is defined by the following seven-fold statement: 1. To worship the one true God in spirit and truth. 2. To equip God?s people for the work of the ministry. 3. To shine the light of a redeemed life to a dark world. 4. To proclaim Jesus until his glorious return. 5. To love one another deeply from the heart. 6. To exhibit the servant heart of Jesus. 7. To obey the ?great commission? of Jesus.
