Portico Church Arlington

Portico Church Arlington exists to unite people to life in Christ. The person and work of Jesus Christ unites us to the Triune God while also uniting us to one another. We consider ourselves one of many local expressions of the body of Christ in our area who are seeking to faithfully steward the gospel and the message of salvation in the life of our church for the glory of God. Doctrinally, we hold to the historical creeds of orthodoxy (Apostles' and Nicene), and warmly embrace the reformed articulation of the faith in the Heidelberg Catechism (which exception to candidates for baptism), and the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith. We are an elder led, congregational affirmed church, holding to qualified (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1) men as the candidates for elders who preach, pray, teach, and lead the church with a supporting body of deacons who lead the church in serving, mobilizing mercy ministry, and meeting practical needs. All of us at Portico are joyful servants of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, from whom, for whom, and to whom are all things.
