About

We teach the scriptures as wholly true from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21. The Scriptures reveal the God who created all that has been created ex nihilo (out of nothing), and against whom Adam and Eve sinned, and all humanity have sinned in Adam. God later judged the entire earth with a flood in which everything that had the breath of life was killed, except for those 8 people in the ark, and the animals which God had brought to the ark. From those eight people, all those that have lived on the earth since that time are descended. God cursed the world through Adam, and promised salvation through the seed of a woman. That seed is the Messiah who was promised throughout the Old Testament and who appeared in the New Testament as the Son of Mary (without the help of a man). Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life, suffered death on the cross as the Suffering Savior, rose from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven after being seen by hundreds of eye-witnesses, and from heaven will descend a second time as the Conquering Judge, will set up a kingdom in which He will personally rule the earth for 1,000 yrs from the throne of David in Jerusalem. After releasing Satan from a 1,000 bondage whereupon he will deceive the nations into one final attempt to destroy Jesus. Satan will be summarily defeated, judged and cast into the Lake of Fire. At the Great White Throne of Judgment, all whose names are not found in the Lamb's Book of Life, will also be thrown into the Lake of Fire. The universe will be rolled up like a garment and destroyed to be replaced by a new heaven and a new earth where all those whose names are written in the Lambs Book of Life will live with Jesus for eternity, learning of His wisdom and grace and finding ever more reasons to exult in the glory of our Great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone. It is not of works, lest any man should boast. We worship together as families. We sing theologically sound psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. We pray for one another both as a part of our Meetings for Worship, and in several other prayer meetings during the week. Our congregation is small enough to know and be known. In years past, we have sent out several missionaries. One of our families is currently nearly through the preparation process to go to Eastern Europe to work among a people among whom only a small percentage are evangelical Christians.
