At Lakewood, we are passionate about the careful interpretation, communication, and application of the Bible. We are convinced by the character of God and the testimony of Scripture itself that God, who cannot lie (Titus 1:2), breathed out a book (doctrine of inspiration) that is completely without error (doctrine of inerrancy) and authoritatively binding (2 Tim. 3:16-17). We believe that the Scriptures are entirely sufficient to equip each individual for a life of faith in Jesus Christ and service for God (doctrine of sufficiency). These beliefs shape every aspect of our ministry. In our services, you will hear God’s Word read, prayed, sung, and proclaimed.
