Lake City Baptist Church

Lake City Baptist is a typical small town Southern Baptist Church in terms of polity, doctrine, and in many ways, practice. Where we stand out is our love for one another and our love for others. Our pastor is in full agreement with the 9 Marks of a healthy church as they are explained by 9 Marks and is patiently engaged in the process of helping us to understand the importance and relevance of these issues. Sunday School (10AM) is currently utilizing Answers in Genesis curriculum. Sunday morning worship (11AM) typically involves preaching expositionally through a book of the Bible. Sunday evening (6PM) teaching usually involves a closer look at a relevant issue that came up in the Sunday morning Sermon. Wednesday night (7PM) most often involves a brief teaching time and an extended focus on prayer.
