About

Our mission is to bring to Ann Arbor a foretaste of God’s new world through a Jesus-led, Gospel-centered community called to bring personal transformation, social justice and cultural renewal to this university town and to the world. Our Knox community worships every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Join us after worship at 10:45 a.m. at the Connection Coffee in Knox Hall (the large multi-purpose room across the atrium from the worship center). Then at 11:15 a.m., during the school year, participate in our education hour, which features Christian education classes for children, 5th to 6th graders, middle schoolers, high schoolers and adults. We are a part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, which exists to carry out the Great Commission of Jesus as a denomination of Presbyterian, Reformed, Evangelical, and Missional congregations. Knox was planted by a small group of families in the early 1990s, with EPC founder Dr. Bartlett Hess serving as first senior pastor.
