The Word of God has been preached in First Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro since 1760, and from the same address since 1812. In 1974, First Presbyterian affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) to remain true to the Scriptures as God’s inerrant Word, to the Reformed doctrines of grace, and to the Proclamation of God’s grace to all nations Our mission to glorify God by declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all, discipling followers of Him to maturity, and dispatching believers to our community and to the world. We are a humble church, purchased by Christ, who desires to grow in love and knowledge of our Lord.
