First Baptist Church of Lake City

Shortly after Colorado became a state, First Baptist Church of Lake City, Colorado was established in 1883 with the mission of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to miners and settlers in the area. Nestled in the heart of the San Juan Mountains, this church exists to proclaim Christ and provide encouragement, fellowship, counsel and training for the maturing of believers as expressed in Colossians 1:28.
