First Baptist Church of Auburndale

We are a family of believers committed to serving Jesus Christ. FBC has been here for 102 years (2022), and we are in the process of revitalizing for the glory of Christ and the spread of the gospel. As a Southern Baptist Church, we join with like-minded Christians to spread the gospel through our community and around the world. Our Ministry Statement is more than just a catchy phrase. We hope that it gives you insight into just who we are. We exist for the purpose of REACHING UP, REACHING OUT, AND REACHING IN. We reach up by magnifying Jesus through worship, living lives given to Him, and the study of God's Word. We reach out by making Jesus known to our neighbors and the nations. We reach in by moving believers in Jesus toward maturity and ministry. Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and at First Baptist Church we desire to do the same. The ministries here are geared to various life stages and needs. That's why we have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities.
