First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church was started in 1939, and over the years, generations, and changing culture, we have remained committed to God’s Word. We are all sinners saved by Grace, and any boasting of our own goodness is excluded. The only goodness worth celebrating is that of Jesus Christ. We are all nothing without him. We are learning what it means to love God and love others. We are imperfect people with a perfect God transforming us by his amazing grace. We are a church of about 80-100 people. We are just normal people from all kinds of different backgrounds and ethnicities. We are a blend of farmers, factory workers, business men & women, retired, law enforcement, and professionals. In general we are not very fancy. Some folks like to wear "Sunday dress," but most people dress on the casual side. Because we are normal people like you, we have our good times and our bad times. The most important thing you need to know about us is that we are being transformed by God's grace. God is changing us, and making us better people. Not a single one of us has anything to brag about. It is all about what God has done, is doing, and will do for us.
