"EVANGELIC, because our teaching can be traced back to the Gospel and we confess with the churches of the Reformation Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of the world, who made us righteous before God by grace and faith alone. The Bible is the basis of our life and we want to pass its good news on to our fellow human beings: Jesus offers the opportunity to lead a meaningful life with God. FREE because we advocate freedom of religion and freedom of conscience. Membership in the community is based on one's own, free decision. Our congregation is not affiliated with any regional church. Our independent association is financially supported exclusively by voluntary donations from our members. As members, we welcome all who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and who have joined the community through baptism of faith. CHURCH because we are a community of Christians. Our faith in Jesus binds us together, despite our differences. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their nationality or cultural background. Our goal is to honor God, to encourage one another and to live the faith together in a practical way."
