About

Our church of local believers was born on July 12, 1953 as Emmanuel Baptist Mission. Then, in March of 1954 the church was renamed to Mammoth Missionary Baptist Church – an Independent NT Baptist Church, which retained that name until January 2018 and became known as Crossroads Community Church. The church is currently led by Pastor Curtis Wilson – a graduate of Maranatha Baptist University – as well as 6 other men who serve alongside Pastor Wilson as lay elders. Each elder has oversight responsibility for a specific area of church ministry as well as the overall spiritual and physical well being of the flock and, of course, oversight of the church’s business affairs. The current membership is approximately 105 saints. We believe in the expositional preaching of God’s word – and the Bible as the inerrant text of His inspired word. We recently completed a sermon series on each of the Nine Marks of a Healthy Church in accord with the book – and in parallel reviewed the book ‘What Is a Healthy Church Member’ by Thabiti Anyabwile in our adult Sunday School period (our ‘Grow’ Class). Our desire to be placed on the 9Marks church search is to utilize any means in order to share the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are searching for light in a darkened world. It is our prayer that God would use this instrument to bring individuals and families to our local body – to increase the fold of mature believers – to grow in their own spiritual lives, and become effective disciples to further spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
