CrossPoint Baptist Church

My preaching would be categorized as a historical-biblical hermeneutics from a reformed/Calvinistic tradition. Our churches teaching time is informal, in the sense that we have discussions in the midst of my teaching. We are a small congregation and our size affords us this flexibility. Crosspoint Baptist Church of Terrell affirms the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession and believes in biblical inerrancy affirming the Chicago Statement of Biblical Inerrancy and the Statement on Social Justice and the Gospel; we also believe in compelementarianism (the belief that men and women are equal, but have different yet complementary roles in the home and church) affirming the Danvers Statement of biblical Manhood and Womanhood and the Nashville Statement on biblical definitions of gender. Our songs are mostly contemporary with hymns mixed in. My wife, Tricia, plays the piano and sings along with a guitarist, bass player, and drummer.
