SUMMARY OF THE CBC STATEMENT OF FAITH In summary we believe that the Scriptures are our perfect guide in which God, the originator of all things, has revealed Himself and that People, who were created to worship God, have instead sinned against God by rejecting his self-revelation and rebelling against his commands. Yet, Salvation has been offered to all people, is rooted God’s Grace and includes the simultaneous gifts of Justification and Regeneration that are linked necessarily to the response of Repentance and Faith. God’s work of salvation continues on in Sanctification and the Perseverance of Believers. Believers are united in the Church, which is to faithfully preach the Gospel and administer the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. As Christians we recognize God’s design in the Family and our responsibility to the Civil Government. Our final hope looks toward the World to Come, which we pray will arrive soon.
