Columbus Street Baptist Church

Columbus Street Baptist Church (formally First Southern Baptist of Bakersfield) was established at its current location in 1936. We are a congregation that desires to be developed by our Lord as we see laid out in the Holy Scriptures. We have been using 9Mark discipleship material to aid us along the way. "How To Build A Healthy Church" has been a model on how we see biblical principles in action along with a trip to DC for one of the 9Marks Weekenders. CSBC has held to the Baptist Faith and Message since its formation.
