Church of the Redeemer, Cape Cod

Vision: We exist to glorify God by reaching the lost and discipling the saved with the gospel of Jesus Christ for the growth of His Kingdom on Cape Cod and beyond. Our vision at COTR drives what we value, and in turn explains why we live as we do. • The Gospel - We value, first and foremost, the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the message of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins, the new life of the Spirit of God, and the hope of everlasting joy with God. • Gospel Proclamation – We value preaching the gospel in all contexts, to all people (believer and non-believer), from the whole Bible (since the entire Bible is about Christ), for the salvation and transformation of the whole person. • Faith in Christ Alone – We value faith in Christ alone, because we believe that Christ died for all, but that only those who are trusting in Christ will be saved. • The Church – We value the church, because Jesus Christ is its head and it is God’s plan to save the world. We also believe that as members of Christ, we are all ministers of the gospel in our own way to our own communities. • Discipleship - We therefore value evangelizing the lost, discipling the saved, and equipping the mature for works of ministry that will build up the church on Cape Cod and beyond. • Church Planting/Mission: We value being a disciple-making church, and becoming a church-planting church, because church planting is a primary means of fulfilling the Great Commission.
