Christ the Redeemer Church

Confessional Reformed Baptist Church PREAMBLE We, the members of Christ the Redeemer Church, do ordain and establish the following articles, to which we voluntarily submit ourselves. ARTICLE I - NAME A. The name of this church shall be Christ the Redeemer Church (for advertising purposes at times we will use Christ the Redeemer). a. “knowing that you were redeemed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ”- 1 Peter 1:18–19a. b. “who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.” - Titus 2:14. c. “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people and has raised up a horn of salvation for us” – Luke 1:68-69 d. “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” - Mark 10:45 ARTICLE II – VISION The vision of Christ the Redeemer Church is to glorify God through upholding and proclaiming His Word to all people from the neighborhoods of Pine Bluff to the neighborhoods of the world. ARTICLE III - MISSION The purpose of Christ the Redeemer Church is to glorify the God of the Scriptures (by) earnestly contending for the faith which was once for all entrusted to the saints. By effectively entrusting this faith to others by making disciples who are led by the Spirit and conforming to the image of his Son. We believe this will lead to a Gospel-Centered Community of people who are from various ethnicities, cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds by tearing down the wall of hostility through the message of the cross. We seek to multiply by developing leaders, planting churches and sending missionaries.
