Christ the King Baptist Church

Christ the King Baptist Church is a church plant in Watsonville, CA. Our purpose is to worship our king, proclaim our king, and live for our king Jesus Christ. We are a confessional, Bible-centered church. We believe and preach the gospel: that God is the creator, man is sinful, Jesus died on a cross and rose from the dead to save His people, and those who believe in Him and confess Him as Lord will be saved from Hell to eternal life (Romans 3-6; 10:9-11, John 3:16) Distinctives: Reformed: We are Calvinistic We are Covenantal We are Confessional We stand in the tradition of the protestant reformers Baptist We believe in Credo Baptism We believe in Elder led congregationalism We believe in Meaningful Membership Evangelical: We believe in the need to share the gospel with everyone including: Our family Our neighbors Our community The world We are a Word-based Church The foundation of all our understanding is based on God’s Word.
