Center Baptist Church

Center Baptist Church was established in 1896 as the Swedish Baptist Church of Omaha. We are located in the center of Omaha right across from the VA hospital. We are a baptist church and part of Converge. In January of 2020, another converge church in the area entered into a partnership to help revitalize Center, sending a full-time senior pastor. We are in the process of working toward a more meaningful membership reflective of the original covenant as we also seek to transition to an elder plurality. We are committed to being a church where Christ is the center of everything we do--our worship, our fellowship, our conversations, our hearts, our homes.
