In covenant with one another, we confess that the Word of God alone is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We hold dear the 1689 Baptist Confession as a most excellent—though not inspired—expression of Scripture’s truth, by which all confessions must be measured. With hearts humbled and joyful, we proclaim the sovereign grace of God in the salvation of sinners, knowing that salvation is by Christ alone and through faith alone, as Spurgeon so faithfully declares.
