Apologia Gospel Church

Apologia Gospel Church is A Christ-centered, gospel-shaped evangelical church in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines that holds the Doctrines of Grace and New Covenant Theology. Apologia is the Greek word for "defense" mentioned in the Bible, " but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect" (1 Peter 3:15) which signifies our intent to be a Christ-honoring, God-exalting, and Spirit-led congregation that proclaims the faith with boldness and love. Gospel - the gospel is that good news that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place and for our sins, and rose on the third day. He promises salvation, eternal life and forgiveness to all who repent and believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. We believe we are called by the gospel, saved by the gospel and led by the gospel. It is significant to us not only for our salvation but also in our walk in Christ. We echo the words of Paul, saying that we are “not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). Church - we are an assembly of believers in Jesus Christ, who is our head, and who calls His church His body, as the apostle Paul said, "Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior." (Ephesians 5:23).
