Agape Baptist Church

Agape Baptist Church is a member church of the Baptist Union of Uganda. Agape Baptist is a congregational church led by a team of qualified elders who are distinguished men in their community. Agape Baptist is shepherded by senior pastor (Rev. Dr. Michael Okwakol)and assisted by four associates pastors. Agape Baptist has several ministries: Men's ministry; Women's ministry; Couples' ministry; sunday school from 9:00-10:00 time when believers congregate to learn more from the bible in small groups usually according to age groups. Agape Baptist has two services: the first service is in the local language (luganda)to cater for the non-English speaking believers in the community and the second service (the main church service)in English from 10:00-12:00. Agape Baptist believes in expository preaching and therefore, men are prepared for ministry in Agape School of Ministry. The faculty consists of distinguished theologians; one from Dallas Theological Seminary; another from Southwestern Theological Seminary; another from Liberty; among others over five Drs and others that form the faculty.
